vCard QR Code Generator
Put a QR code on your business card that saves your contact details to any phone in one scan. Make it dynamic and your card survives job changes, new numbers and rebrands.
Works on every phone
Dynamic vCards open a clean mobile contact page with a “Save contact” button — reliable on iPhone and Android alike, with no app required.
Update after printing
New job title? New number? Edit your card once online — every printed QR code serves the fresh details.
Know when it's scanned
See how many people actually scanned your card, when, and where.
Static vCard vs dynamic vCard QR
A static vCard QR embeds the contact file directly in the code. It works offline, but the more fields you add, the denser and harder to scan the code becomes — and it can never be edited. A dynamic vCard QR encodes a tiny snapqr.link URL that opens your hosted contact page with a one-tap “Save contact” (.vcf) download. It stays crisp at business-card size, is editable forever, and counts scans. SnapQR supports both — the checkbox in the generator switches between them.
Tips for business card QR codes
- Print at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) so cameras focus quickly.
- Keep strong contrast — dark code on a light background scans best.
- Add a short frame CTA like “Save my contact” to lift scan rates.
- Test a print proof with both an iPhone and an Android camera before the full run.
