How dynamic QR codes work
When you create a dynamic code, SnapQR generates a short URL such as snapqr.link/x7Kp and encodes that into the QR pattern. Scanning triggers an instant redirect (an HTTP 302) to whatever destination you've configured. Because the printed pattern only ever contains the short URL, you can repoint it as often as you like — the paper never changes, the destination does.
Each scan is recorded on the redirect hop: timestamp, device type, operating system, approximate location from IP (the IP itself is never stored), and referrer. That single redirect is what turns a printed poster into a measurable marketing channel.

Dynamic QR code FAQ
Are free dynamic QR codes going to stop working later?
No. SnapQR dynamic codes don't expire and don't get watermarked. Unlike trial-based services, there is no plan that runs out.
How many times can I change the destination?
Unlimited. Every change applies instantly to every printed copy.
Do I need an account to manage my code?
No — you get a private manage URL when you create the code. Anyone with that URL can edit the code, so treat it like a password. Your codes are also remembered on your device under My codes.
Can I turn a code off?
Yes — pause it anytime from the manage page and scans show a friendly “deactivated” notice; resume whenever you like.
